Worship Gatherings
Worshiping together is central to who we are as a community at Thompson Church. It is through worship that we are drawn closer to God and to one another. All of our worship gatherings, regardless of their time frame or worship style, focus on the same things: coming together in Christian fellowship, hearing God's Word proclaimed, and being sent into the world to do the work of the Kingdom.

On Sundays where a summer holiday is observed, we will have one service on a "Holiday Schedule" at 9:00 am in the Sanctuary. The Summer Worship Schedule is as follows:
May 26 -- 9:00 am - Memorial Weekend - Sanctuary
June 9 -- August 25 -- 9:00 am and 11:00 am Summer Services
July 7 & September 1 -- Holiday Schedule, one service at 9:00 am - Sanctuary
Directions
We want to make sure you know where you can join us! All of our worship gatherings take place at Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church. We can be found at 1680 Aquetong Road, New Hope, PA 18938.
NOTE: Some older GPS units (usually with maps from over 10 years ago) use an outdated numbering of Aquetong Road. If you have an older GPS unit, using 288 Aquetong may return a more accurate location. Google Maps returns the most accurate online mapping to Thompson Church.
Worship During the Program Year
During the program year we gather for two different worship services on Sunday mornings. During each service we have Sunday school classes for children from preschool through 5th grade.
9:00 am Traditional Worship Service: This worship service takes place in our Sanctuary. We read Scripture, pray together, sing hymns, hear special music from our talented choirs and ensembles, and reflect on God's Word through the sermon.
11:00 am Contemporary Worship Service: This worship service takes place in our Fellowship Hall. We read Scripture, pray together, and reflect on God's Word through the sermon. Musically, there will be congregational singing and special music in contemporary style led by a small group of music leaders using guitars, keyboards, or percussion instruments.
On the first Sunday of each month we observe the Sacrament of Communion
at both of our worship services.
Nursery care is available during both services.
Special Worship Gatherings
Throughout the year at Thompson Church, we have special worship gatherings to celebrate or remember major events in the life of both our congregation and the broader church. Some of these services, such as Christmas Eve or Easter Sunday, honor historic Christian events, while others, such as our Lenten Prayer Services (held on Wednesday evenings during the season of Lent), offer an opportunity for deeper reflection.
