All Ages Get Involved at TMPC

Within the life of Thompson Church there are boundless opportunities for mission and service, both within our congregation and in the broader community.  We know that people have wide-ranging gifts and interests; our hope is to find a place that is a good fit for everyone in our church family. See the opportunities below and click on their button to sign-up.

Sunday Opportunities TO GET INVOLVED

On the second Sunday of each month, Thompson Church hosts a free meal open to everyone in our church family as well as the local community.

No RSVP is needed - We will always have an open place at our table for you!

Congregational Members...  We need your help to make each meal special.   We need home-cooked food, volunteers to set up and clean up, and most of all we need you to attend and fellowship with one another and our guests."

We are thankful for our hardworking pastors, but worship cannot be done without your help! If you would like to help lead in worship by being a lay reader please sign up below.

A wonderful way to become involved and meet people is by ushering. This is an easy job and you will be guided by someone who is experienced. Volunteers are needed for both services.

COFFEE HOUR/Lemonade

At Thompson Memorial, we value space and time for fellowship for both new visitors and longtime members. Click the volunteer link to find out more about how easy it is to serve as a helper at coffee hour.

Children AT TMPC

At Thompson, we desire to help children and youth discover their faith, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and demonstrate God’s love to the world.  Our Kid’s Ministry team walks with our children as they grow in faith, engage in mission & service opportunities, experience worship & music, and connect in fellowship.

ADULT small groups at tmpc

Small groups connect us to each other outside the larger worship gathering.  Our small groups offer a time and a space to dive deep into scripture, prayer, book studies and to share the joys and difficulties of life or just enjoy fellowship and fun.  TMPC is home to many small groups of all sizes and ages.  Some of our groups have been meeting for decades and new groups are always forming.

Youth Group Student Ministry AT TMPC

Thompson students GROW and mature through discussion and study, PLAY. They have fun socially to build a sense of community, and SERVE and care for their community as a way of living like Jesus lived. More than anything else, we want HS and MS students know that they are loved unconditionally, and that their presence in our lives matters. All belong here!
