TMPC Kids

At Thompson, we desire to help children and youth discover their faith, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and demonstrate God’s love to the world. We encourage our students to apply the lessons from God’s Word to their everyday lives. Using age-appropriate activities and a sensitivity to different learning styles, our Kid’s Ministry team walks with our children as they grow in faith, engage in mission, experience worship, and connect in fellowship.

SUNDAY SCHOOL at Thompson Church

At Thompson, we encourage our children to experience and engage in our worship services. We ask our children to join us at the start of worship, which we will later dismiss them to Sunday School directly following the Children’s Message. From there, children will have their own small lesson along with an activity or game and a craft.

Sunday School Curriculum

Celebrate Wonder is a curriculum that seeks to celebrate spirituality through wonder. Children are naturally spiritual beings and everyday theologians. We want children to recognize and name this spirituality found within themselves and in all the world around them.This curriculum seeks to deepen children’s faith formation and to create a safe space for children to ask big questions and claim their spiritual identity as children of God.

Sunday School Teachers and Volunteers

We would not be able to provide our children with this wonderful experience without adult and teen volunteers who offer their time and talents. We are always looking for folks who would like to get involved and help share the good news with our youngest members. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up using the button below.

Kids Club

We host a Kids Club for children 4-12 years old. Kids and their families enjoy making a dinner, playing games and making a craft. Kids Club is offered almost every month of the year.

Middle School Ministry

567 Middle School Ministry is for students in 5th, 6th, and 7th Grade and will meet on the third Friday of each month, from 5:30-7:00 pm. They'll have dinner together, but then break off for their own games and discussion time. Sign up below and be sure to let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School

August 12-16
9:00 am - Noon

Join us for a fun-filled week of camp! All children ages 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to join us for this FREE camp. We will have time for games, crafts, music, Bible study, and more.

At VBS, kids have fun as they explore the Bible, make new friends, sing songs, and learn how Jesus works through them in their everyday lives.
