Part of living life together in Christian community is supporting one another. One way we do this at Thompson Church is by providing pastoral care to our members, families, and friends. Pastoral care is most visible in challenging times: the death of a loved one, a challenging medical diagnosis, or the loss of a job. However, our pastoral staff and care ministry is available to support our congregation through all of life's stages.
We support our congregation in many ways, some more visible than others. You can learn about some of these ministries below, or use the form on this page to contact our ministry team. We would be honored to walk with you, no matter where in life you find yourself.
Please note that this form contacts the pastor in charge of pastoral care at Thompson Church. This email account is not monitored around the clock. If you are in need of immediate assistance, please call our church office at 215.862.2440 (during business hours) or if it is an emergency, please call 911.
Something New This Summer -- Stroll with Stuart!
Cardiologists at Doylestown Hospital periodically offer their patients a chance to “Walk with a Doc” around the campus of the hospital. Doctor and patient can talk about health concerns or get to know each other.
This summer, Pastor Spencer would love to take a stroll with you for the sake of getting to know you better, hear about your life and your heart, and enjoy God’s glory in Bucks County while getting a little bit of exercise.
There are three levels of walks: Easy (walking around the cemetery), Moderate (walking along the tow path), Slightly Challenging (a hike at Kinser Mountain or Ralph Stover State Park.
Stuart will meet you wherever you wish. He will walk or hike with you for an hour. He will also bring some water to keep hydrated! And if you aren’t up for a walk in the summer heat, he will gladly come to your home and sit for an hour too.
