Christmas Eve Worship Services

Thompson Church will be offering several different worship opportunities for Christmas Eve 2023. Each worship experience will help us enter into the story of Christmas and the miracle of Christ’s birth. On Christmas Eve, Thompson will provide four worship services. Below you can find out more about each worship service and how you can participate.

3:30pm - Family Service with a Pop-up Pageant
It’s your chance to take part in the story of our savior’s birth! You’ll be able to choose your role and directly experience this memorable part of our faith hands on. This service is meant for all ages, so bring your kids or grandkids to join in on the fun!

6:00pm - Contemporary Service
This contemporary service features our band with drums, guitar, vocals, and a multimedia experience that will walk you through the Christmas story in a lively and upbeat way. We will end with Silent Night as we welcome Jesus into the world.

7:00pm - Lessons and Carols
Join us in our beautiful historic sanctuary to sing your favorite Christmas carols alongside the Gospel story, followed by a candle-lit chorus of Silent Night.

9:30pm - Candlelight Communion Service
Come and worship our newborn Savior with special music, familiar hymns and a time in the Word hearing the good news of great joy. We will also celebrate the Lord's Supper and ring in Christmas Day.
