Inclusivity

Thompson Church is a community of various backgrounds and beliefs, drawn together by the love of Jesus Christ.  At Thompson, you’re invited to grow and serve with our open and affirming community. We believe that all people are created in the image of God, that all people are of sacred worth, and that Christ died for all people. We believe that God’s love excludes no one. We find the basis for all of our beliefs in scripture and point to teachings throughout our sacred text that witness to God’s boundless love for us.

Inclusivity Team

The TMPC Inclusivity Team focuses on five categories:
Disability, Economic Injustice & Poverty, Addiction & Mental Health, Gender & Sexuality, and Race & Ethnicity.
We understand that at no point will we arrive at a place where we fully understand the varied experiences of all of God's people.  
Instead, we seek to learn and grow together about how to live into the teaching of Jesus, that they may all be one (John 17:21).

Thompson Church marches  in the New Hope Pride Parade each May.  Come join the fun and show our community that we are an inclusive and loving church for EVERYONE
Join us on MLK Monday as we take action to care for those who are hurting, both in our community and around the world and as we choose to grow, learn and listen to how to be a more unified people.
