Worshiping together is central to who we are as a community at Thompson Church. It is through worship that we are drawn closer to God and to one another. In worship we gather together, sing, pray, and hear the Word proclaimed. We celebrate the sacraments of Baptism and Communion. Each of our services comprises a community of believers who care deeply for one another, who pray for and with one another, and who find strength in the songs, the preaching, and the fellowship.
We have a variety of worship gatherings, depending on the week and the season. On most Sundays we gather for our Traditional Worship Service at 8:30 a.m. and for our Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. We also have an educational hour at 9:45 a.m. for children, youth, and adults (learn more about Christian Education here).
On months with five Sundays, we hold a special, combined Fifth Sunday Worship at 9:30 a.m. in our Fellowship Hall.
During the summer months, we gather at 9:30 a.m. in our Sanctuary for one worship service.
