Opportunities for Youth in 6-8th Grade
During Sunday School, students get to dive into the Bible to learn more about God's story. Using Dwell curriculum from Faith Alive, our youth discover how God is working in the world today and in their own lives. The activities are presented in a variety of learning styles, which helps our students make personal connections with their growing faith.
R.O.C.K (Reach Out in Christian Kindness)
This group meets each Sunday evening from 6:00 - 7:30pm at TMPC. We come together to play games, study, share, and have snacks. We also have special events planned throughout the year for service opportunities and fun outings together. If you would like to know more about ROCK or would like to sign up to join us, please contact Pastor Bailey.
Each summer our 6-8th graders head out for a week of service, fun, and growing with God. Learn More about our Mission Trip
5TH GRADE TO ADULTS
The Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church has a great cross-generational drama group that includes anyone from 5th grade through adults. The TMPC Drama Group meets the third Saturday of the month from 2:00 - 4:00pm During our workshops students use skits, improvisation, dramatic readings, and games to improve their acting skills. We then use those skills to share God's Word in creative presentations for Sunday School and worship.
